It's really interesting that we don't even seem to want a relationship with ourselves. Sales we spend so much time and energy focusing on trying to develop and get to know somebody else and we don't even know ourselves. We want to be in love with someone else and we're not even in love with ourselves. We don't even know who we are. We don't spend any time with us. Like, why is your relationship with yourself should be the most important relationship in your life? It should come first before any other relationship because your relationship with others is simply a reflection of your relationship with yourself. You cannot love others if you don't love yourself and you cannot love yourself if you don't know yourself. You cannot treat others well if you don't treat yourself well. And we just jumped the gun, we put the cart before the horse. You should be spending time alone with yourself every single fucking day.No exceptions. That should come before anything else. Why doesn't it? Do you know why? Because the truth is we don't love ourselves. And of course, there are some people out there to do, but most of us don't. Because if you love yourself, you would spend time with yourself. You would make time to spend time with yourself and you would enjoy spending time with yourself. You would look forward to spending time with yourself. Just like when you do meet someone and you're so strongly attached to that person and you're thinking that that is love when it's just attachment. But through that attachment, you want to see them all the time. You don't ever want to be without them. If you're not in their face, you want to be on the phone listening to their voice. If you're not on the phone talking to them, you want to be texting them, sending each other pictures, and all this shit. And that's how you should be with you. And you can get there. A relationship with yourself is just like any other relationship. You got to get to know yourself. And the only way to do that is you have to invest time in getting to know you. Just like you would invest time into people getting to know them. You want to be with them alone, just you and them, so you can get to know them. Same with you. You want to be with you alone, just you and you. And it's the same thing. You talk to yourself, you ask yourself questions, and you know you got tons of questions about life and about this the decisions you made and why you are the way you are, and just all that you just fire away. And this is how you start a relationship with yourself. It's no different, it's not complicated. You just got to want to do it. But there's nothing more important in life than that. And like I said, everything else in your life is going to be a reflection of your relationship with yourself. And not just other relationships. You know, like romantic relationships, all your relationships, business relationships, friendships, all of it. All of it. How you interact with people, like with strangers in a grocery store or whatever, it's all a reflection of your relationship with yourself. Your level of success in life is a reflection of your relationship with yourself. If you're in poverty, if you're struggling, if you lack finances, or if you're rich, if you're wealthy, if you have an abundance of whatever it is, it's all a reflection of your relationship with yourself.
